BenQ GV31: what it gives up
- BenQ has recalled every GV31 sold from July 2023 through May 2026 over a battery that can overheat, and tells owners to stop using it until the battery is replaced
- 300 ANSI lumens is strictly a full-dark number
- HDMI 1.4b — it will not accept a 4K signal at all
- 45 ms input lag rules out gaming, and it supports no HDR format at all
Anker Nebula Capsule 3 Laser: what it gives up
- 500:1 native contrast, so dark scenes are grey
- 300 ANSI lumens caps the usable screen size at maybe 60 to 80 inches in the dark
