What this site collects

Server logs

The server records standard web-server information for each request: IP address, the page requested, the time, the referring page and the browser’s user-agent string. These logs exist to keep the site running and to diagnose faults. They are not used to build a profile of you and they are not sold or shared.

Analytics

Google Analytics records aggregate traffic — which pages are read, roughly where visitors are in the world, and which links get clicked — so that effort goes to the pages people actually use. Google’s own browser opt-out add-on disables it entirely, and any tracker blocker will do the same. The site works exactly the same either way.

Browser storage

One key is written to your browser’s sessionStorage: pg_projectorFilters, which holds the filters you last applied to the catalog so that returning from a projector page lands you back where you were. It is cleared when the tab closes, it never leaves your browser, and it contains nothing but filter selections.

There are no accounts, no logins, no newsletter, no comment system and no advertising network on this site.

Links to other sites

Projector pages list the source URLs used for that model’s specifications, and a few explainers cite outside references. This site carries no retailer links, no affiliate tags and no shopping redirects of any kind, so nothing here tracks you to a shop. Any site you do visit from here has its own privacy policy.

Children

This site is a product reference for adults. It is not directed at children under 13 and no information is knowingly collected from them.
