- A fixed 1.20 throw ratio with digital zoom only — the picture size is set by where it stands
- 60 Hz only, with no published input-lag figure
- XGIMI publishes no contrast figure
- XGIMI's brightness claims on earlier models were revised downward after an Epson complaint in 2023; the ISO figure here is the post-settlement standard
- A single HDMI port, so a console and a soundbar cannot both stay connected
XGIMI Horizon Ultra: what it gives up
- 2,300 ISO lumens is mid-pack and wants the lights down
- 60 Hz ceiling
- No lens shift and no published contrast figure
